London Conservatives kick off the post election summer season with a Conference with Conservative Progress.
Meeting in London on 15 July London Party members are gathering to plan for the future.
Ian Twinn, London Chairman, said “There is no hiding the fact that the General Election result was poor and very disappointing in London. Whilst our share of the vote was the highest it has been for many years, it did not translate into winning seats. We lost some really excellent MPs, now the fight back begins with a clear understanding of what we must do as a Party and a clear focus on what we as a Party have that works for London Councils, for the GLA and Mayoral elections and for Westminster.”
